As is stated in its long-term plan, the Team Vlaams Bouwmeester wishes to stimulate reasonable remuneration for competition designs. This remuneration is after all an integral part of the creative work by a design team; it relates to the architect’s core business. For a short time now, when determining the remuneration, account has been taken of the fee for the assignment and the documents that have to be submitted with the tender.

The Team Vlaams Bouwmeester wants to provide greater insight into how the design teams spend their time on competition designs and to this end requests from the design teams records of the time spent. A form is available on the website of the Team Vlaams Bouwmeester where those who submit a tender can fill in the number of hours worked on it.
